Aqua could be the cheapest full featured diving computer with compass. It even has Nitrox setting. Its only weakness is that it cannot be used with 100% Nitrox. It is important because I intend to dive only with Nitrox. Nitrox not only reduces NDT (No decompression time), it is also therapeutic.
What are available are 3 settings, normal, conservatif atau aggressive. I guess that the partial oxygen pressure for normal is 1.4, conservative is 1.4 and aggressive is 1.6.
If you use 100% oxygen, the maximum depth is (1-1.4)*10/100%= 4 m.
If you set to conservative, with maximum allowed setting of 56% oxygen, despite using 100% oxygen, the maximum depth is (1-1.2)*10/56% = 3.6 m. Still on the safe side, but not too conservative.
The cheapest supplier is from Lazada. It is best to order it from North Edge official supplier. North Edge also has an official supplier in Shopee but its prices are different. I was able to buy my Aqua for RM 325, after discount. I also bought an Aqua from Shopee at a price of RM 370 after discount.
The best way to describe the functions of any device is to show its user manual. Attached are the scanned images of the Aqua manual. This manual is good overall. Its English is excellent. The printed manual is clear, but my scanner is poor.
What is lacking is the lack of instruction to go to the mode function. You just have to press the Back button. To move between options, you need to twist a few turns the Menu button. Half a turn is not enough. Twist clockwise to move the cursor down, twist anti-clockwise to move the cursor up. Once you have finished you must press the Back button for a long time in some modes. Once you are at the top level of the mode selection, you must select the Time mode to return to the watch mode. Or need to wait for a least one minute for it to automaticallly return to the watch mode.
Battery: CR2450 is used but not mentioned in the manual.It is a large battery so the watch should last at least a few years. When you change this battery, do not send it to an ordinary watch shop. I spoiled a few of my Casio 100m waterproof watches when I asked them to replace my batteries. The problem is the gasket. It needs to be greased with silicon grease or non-acidic silicon sealant.

The nominal capacity of the CR2450 batteries is around 600-620 mAh.
The Light button is used to switch on the backlight. The default is for 55 seconds. The backlight is so weak that initially I thought there was no backlight. At a dark place, such as underwater, the light should be bright enough.
If you press the Light switch for a long time, the screen will be locked. To release the lock, you need to long-press the Light button again.This screen lock function is important because the screen in any mode will return to the time mode after one minute except the Scuba diviing mode. In the Scuba diving mode, you need to long-press the Back button.
The compass mode is calibrated by pressing the View button for a long time. Otherwise, the View buttons are used to select sub functions. For example, in the Time mode, the View button is used to select the Stop watch and Countdown modes. At the end of the Countdown, there is a buzzer sound for a few seconds, but this sound is so weak. There is an Alarm function, which you set in the Setting mode in the same way as the Countdown mode. Do not use this mode because battery is precious for this type of watch. Not easy to replace its battery safely.
